As an epidemiologist, I teach in and direct the PhD program in Epidemiolgy at the School of Public Health.  I also help to study how diet affects our long-term health. To learn more about our research study, go to: https://publichealth.llu.edu/adventist-health-studies

Outside of work, I have a loving wife, a 3 year old girl, and a 1 year old boy.  I love spending time with my family.  My interests include writing poetry, hosting a book club, baking bread, running, and strength training.

I am thankful to be a part of the Loma Linda University team.
