Mission and Outreach

Local and international community engagement is at the core of Loma Linda University Health’s mission “To continue the teaching and healing ministry of Jesus Christ.”. This site provides you with many opportunities to serve in local community engagement, international community engagement, or both! These opportunities are varied; you can serve as a student, through service learning coursework or by volunteering at home or abroad. For staff and faculty, local and international service sites are available where your compassion and expertise in healthcare can help transform lives in the community.

Service is at the heart of the “Loma Linda Experience”. We hope you will join us and others here at Loma Linda University Health in finding your opportunity to transform and be transformed through service.
