An 8 – 12 week program (depending on the acuity of the specific unit) designed for the new graduate nurse interested in developing a strong foundation in clinical practice that will set the stage for a long term nursing career. Program includes a planned curriculum of required classes, staff preceptors, and time with unit educators. The program begins quarterly on a rotating cycle. A 16-week program designed for the new graduate nurse who wants to develop and build a strong foundation in clinical practice that will set the stage for a long term nursing career. A 12-week program designed for college students entering their junior or senior year in college interested in exploring a possible career in healthcare administration or academic administration. Applicants must be pursuing a degree business, communication, health science, or other related field. Benefits include paid internship, travel reimbursement, and housing allowance. Learn More
A 2-year program for recent college graduates (graduated within the last calendar year) who are looking to begin a career in healthcare or academic administration. Residency includes multiple rotations through specific business departments and optional international rotation. A 1-2 year program for recent post graduate students (graduated within the last calendar year) looking to advance their career in healthcare administration in an academic healthcare institution. Fellows are assigned to specific business areas depending on current LLUH needs. Optional international rotation is also available. A 2-year program equipping the bedside nurse with the knowledge and skills for nurse leadership positions. Applicants must have minimum of three years, acute care bedside nursing experience, and a bachelor’s degree in nursing, current RN license, and be willing to enter into a Doctoral Nursing degree program.
