About Wonha Kim, MD, MPH

Wonha Kim, MD, MPH, completed her undergraduate training at Princeton University, where she majored in policy at the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs and minored in Spanish Language and Literature. She received her medical degree from Johns Hopkins and stayed on at Hopkins for her pediatric residency.

Immediately after completing her pediatric residency, she sought further training in general preventive medicine and public health at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, obtaining her masters in public health (MPH) degree during the process. She is board certified in both Pediatrics and Public Health/General Preventive Medicine. In October 2013, she joined the faculty at Loma Linda University as Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and of Preventive Medicine, Assistant Professor for the School of Public Health, and Senior Research Scholar for the Institute for Health Policy and Leadership (IHPL). In September 2015, she became the Associate Director for IHPL. Then in January 2017, she began her role as the Director of IHPL.
