About Christoph B. Pohling, Dr. rer. nat.

Christoph Pohling studied Chemistry (Diploma) at Philipps University in Marburg, Germany and Université Pierre-et-Marie-Curie, Paris, France. He received his doctoral degree (Dr. rer. nat.) from Ruprecht-Karls-University in Heidelberg, where he worked on nonlinear Raman microscopy for chemo-selective imaging of brain tissue. As a postdoctoral researcher he worked within the Molecular Imaging Program at Stanford University, California. Since 2022, he is Adjunct Assistant Professor at Loma Linda University, School of Medicine, Biomedical Engineering Sciences. His research addresses the interface between physics and medicine to improve medical treatments by new strategies emerging from basic science.
