About Timothy Seavey, MA

Timothy Seavey, Ed.D., M.A.M., R.T.(R)(CT), has been designing courses in the online environment since 2009. As the Radiation Sciences, BS program director, Timothy has designed and implemented over 50 online courses, 12 online programs, and coordinates general education at Loma Linda University. Timothy has also taught for California State University Northridge and assisted other universities, such as Union College develop online courses. Timothy has experience using multiple learning management systems and was a representative for faculty on the selection team that brought Canvas to Loma Linda University. Timothy’s doctoral degree at Pepperdine University focused on educational learning technologies specifically, discussion board design in online environments.

In addition to his academic experience, Timothy has over a decade of acute care and management experience as a licensed radiographer and computed tomography technologist.
