Evaluating student assessments can be done in a cost-effective manner and promote collegiality amongst faculty. This article focuses on three tips used by one university to encompass a comprehensive simulation scenario: 1) being able to write their own scenarios, 2) create their own assessment forms using Word, and 3) bar scanning with QR code readers. Using these three innovative ideas can objectively capture a clinical snapshot in a cost-effective manner.
