While COVID-19 has disrupted our in-person events, activities and resources, we remain committed to fostering our close-knit community. We're continuing to provide access to essential campus resources and transitioning to virtual events when possible.

Building Access

Campus buildings remain accessible to students and staff, but limited to access control restrictions (badge access, screeners, etc.). Each of the buildings have guidelines posted. Please observe these directives for the health and safety of our campus.

  • Drayson Center remains closed in its regular capacity in accordance with California state regulations. However, Drayson Center is partnering with the Boys and Girls Club - Redlands/Riverside to host a Fall Day Camp for dependents (aged 5-14) of full-time employees. Refer to Covid-19 Resources on One Portal for more information.
  • Residence halls remain open during COVID-19.
  • The library is open with modified hours. Please refer to the library webpage for more information.

Events and Activities

In accordance with state and federal guidelines, Loma Linda University has made the difficult decision to cancel in-person events and large gatherings. Students and staff should avoid activities both on and off campus involving close interaction and large groups of people.

Virtual Events

We recognize our community's need for social connection is stronger than ever before. To stay connected, we've transitioned a number of events into virtual settings, including information sessions, chapel, school-specific events and more. Please contact your school or the appropriate group for more information about specific events.

University @ Worship

University Spiritual Care will host University @ Worship online at 11:00-11:50 am each Wednesday. The link to those worship services will be embedded in the Canvas shells for classes. Employees, faculty and others can access the services, as usual, through the link www.llu.edu/uw. All worship experiences will be archived and available for viewing. You are encouraged to benefit from these services.

Visitor Policy

Visitors are not allowed on campus at this time.

Should you have any questions, please contact the Security Control Center at 909-558-4320 or ext. 44320 from any on-campus phone.
