While COVID-19 has disrupted our in-person events, activities and resources, we remain committed to fostering our close-knit community. We're continuing to provide access to essential campus resources and transitioning to virtual events when possible.

Facilities

In following guidance from the California Department of Public Health and San Bernardino County Health Department, our updated facility hours include the following:

  • Centennial Complex and Councilors Student Pavilion are open until midnight (by badge access) to allow for student study time.
  • Library hours remain as follows:
    • Monday-Thursday: 7 a.m. - 9 p.m.
    • Friday: 7 a.m.- 2 p.m.
    • Sunday: 10 a.m. -  6 p.m.
  • Drayson Center has begun a phased reopening of outdoor facilities. Visit the Drayson Center website for more information.
  • Residence halls remain open during COVID-19.

Individual school buildings might have additional study locations and hours that will be determined by that school.

As the leading academic health science center in the region, we have the responsibility to set an example to others by practicing safety precautions at all times while on campus. This includes using the appropriate PPE such as masking, disinfecting and practicing social distancing. Failure to follow these may result in being asked to exit the facility and loss of campus privileges.

Events and Activities

In accordance with state and federal guidelines, Loma Linda University has made the difficult decision to cancel in-person events and large gatherings. Students and staff should avoid activities both on and off campus involving close interaction and large groups of people.

Virtual Events

We recognize our community's need for social connection is stronger than ever before. To stay connected, we've transitioned a number of events into virtual settings, including information sessions, chapel, school-specific events and more. Please contact your school or the appropriate group for more information about specific events.

University @ Worship

University Spiritual Care will host University @ Worship online at 11:00-11:50 am each Wednesday. The link to those worship services will be embedded in the Canvas shells for classes. Employees, faculty and others can access the services, as usual, through the link www.llu.edu/uw. All worship experiences will be archived and available for viewing. You are encouraged to benefit from these services.

Visitor Policy

Visitors are not allowed on campus at this time.

Should you have any questions, please contact the Security Control Center at 909-558-4320 or ext. 44320 from any on-campus phone.
