Filip Milosavljevic

February 20, 2019: Filip Milosavljevic

Filip is a 3rd generation pastor, though he did not come into a saving relationship with Christ until he was 19 when he started to read the Bible for himself. A graduate of Andrews University’s undergraduate Theology program and Theological Seminary, Filip is passionate about writing, speaking and any other creative ways to share Jesus’ love to the world. His is writing his doctoral dissertation at Fuller Theological Seminary on Growing Young Adventists, a study on Thriving Churches in Adventism. Currently he is one of the Young Adult pastors at the Loma Linda University Church and is an Associate Speaker for Quiet Hour Ministries, an international missions organization. He and his wife spent a crazy semester in college in remote regions of Nepal and climbing to the basecamp of Mt. Everest sharing the love of Jesus. Filip is married to Elena, who is a medical resident, and they have two kids, one meows and the other barks. But seriously, a baby girl is coming March 2019.

Miguel Mendez

March 6, 2019: Miguel Mendez

The son of immigrants who came to this country hoping to escape repression, poverty, and violence. I am a native of Southern California and a graduate of La Sierra University, I have two rambunctious and precocious boys and a wonderful woman who serves as the glue to our family. I continue to believe that the church is called to create spaces where lingo of repression and violence is replaced by the grammar of grace.
