About Bridgette J. Peteet, PhD, MA

Bridgette Peteet, Ph.D. is a Professor of Psychology in the School of Behavioral Health. Her educaitonal philosophy  centers on three foci: 1) valuing diverse cultural perspectives; 2) promoting engagement and critical thinking; and 3) leveraging technological advances. Her Resilience and Disparities (RAD) Lab focuses on identifying the psychological, behavioral, and cultural contexts that contribute to health and health related behaviors in minoritized populations.  Dr. Peteet's service contributions span the department, college, university, community, and psychology profession and aim to directly enhance the lives of others, especially those from marginalized backgrounds.
