Why should I choose Loma Linda University?
Loma Linda University is focused on training compassionate leaders in health. Your education will take place in advanced medical facilities under the supervision of experts renowned in their field. Our graduates have gone on to fill top positions in the healthcare industry and even make world-changing breakthroughs.
Our motto, “To make man whole,” places compassion at the forefront of all we do. Physical, mental and spiritual health is emphasized for students, faculty, staff and the patients they ultimately serve.
We’re a Seventh-day Adventist organization with a mission to continue the teaching and healing ministry of Jesus Christ. Faith and spirituality are important to us — and this fact is reflected both in our student life services and our curriculum.
What if I’m not Seventh-day Adventist? What if I’m not religious?

Every major religion and dozens more are represented throughout our diverse student body. What brings us all together — students, faculty and staff — is our commitment to our shared values, to our mission and to those we serve.
