Program Description

This online program has been designed for practicing chaplains who lack academic course work in Adventist doctrine and beliefs, and who desire endorsement from the Adventist Chaplaincy Ministries (ACM) department of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists.


Program Length

27 quarter units, completed in a cohort group with a combination of online courses and campus intensive classes at the beginning and the end of the program. All courses can be completed in approximately 2 years, if enrolled full time.

Possible Careers

Graduates will meet the requirements for SDA chaplains who seek foundational knowledge of basic beliefs and practices of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Admissions Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from a regionally-accredited institution
  • Undergraduate cumulative gpa - 3.0 minimum
  • International: Internet-based TOEFL test score of 83 or higher (computer and paper-based tests vary)
